Misconception:
Anarchism is against good/service X.
- Roads, fire protection, schools, ...
- Law/police/legal systems.
- "polycentric law"
- traditional/customary law, e.g. Anglo-Saxon Common law, Xeer, American Indian legal systems, Celtic Ireland, Thing system of Classical Iceland.
- privately-produced law, e.g. Champagne fairs, Law Merchant, Admiralty Law, claims associations, cattlemen's assoc., mining assoc.
Anarchism opposes a coercive monopoly in service X,
not service X as such.
