Freethinker's Song - Hogeye Bill

Some believe in leprechauns, some believe TV
Some in hell and heaven, and some astrology
Some say you're a brain-dead sheep, you'd better fall in line
There's virgin birth and flattened earth and buggery sublime.

Some believe in holy zombies rising from the dead
Some say there's no reality, it's all up in your head
Some believe in magic spells and some the end of days
Some say there's a free lunch, where nobody pays.

Well I don't believe in supernatural critters
Anti-mind death worship's not for me
You can take your flying spaghetti monster
And grovel on your knees
But I'll take what I learn and what I see
I'll use my brain and rationality.

Some folks want to murder for their god guy's holy light
Burn them at the stake, boys, if they don't think right
Kill all those with different myths, holy rape and sack
My god can beat your god and I'll prove it with the rack.

Some folks think that holy men cure cancer with a touch
Some see floods, disease, and hunger thanking god so much
That he aimed his lightning bolts at unbelieving scum
Are believers brainwashed by their culture, or just plain ol' dumb?

Well I don't believe in supernatural critters
Anti-mind death worship's not for me
You can take your invisible pink unicorn
Grovel on your knees
But I'll take what I learn and what I see
I'll use my brain and rationality.
